What’s Happening at the Farm
A June update from all of us at Belle Terre Lavender
There’s a particular morning in early June when you walk the rows and realize it’s happening. After the warmth of the last few weeks, the fields have turned. The silver green is giving way to purple, and the whole farm smells like the season we wait all year for. We wanted to bring you along.
The fields are turning purple
The heat of the past few weeks did exactly what we hoped. The lavender has color now, deepening a little more each day, and the rows are alive with bees. This season we’ve welcomed hives brought in by Bee Blesst out of Benton City, and they’ve settled right in, already getting started on making lavender honey. On a still afternoon the hum out in the field is something we never get tired of, and knowing there’s honey on the way makes it even sweeter.
If this warm stretch holds, we’re on track for a beautiful run toward peak bloom over the coming weeks. It’s been a kind season. The plants set deep, healthy roots this spring, and the heat has rewarded them.
Here’s a look at where things stand as of June 1st:
Come shop at the farm, by appointment
Honestly, everything out here feels a little like magic right now, and we’d love for you to come see it for yourself. We’re opening up appointments for shopping at the farm paired with a tour of the grounds and a look at our distillation process, where fresh lavender becomes oil. It’s an experience best enjoyed with a small group, so gather around five friends or family and make a morning of it. Browse the shop, breathe in the rows, and take home a fresh bundle of lavender straight from the source.

New: our Restore Serum Oil
We’re so happy to share that our new Restore serum oil has just come out. It’s been a labor of love, and we couldn’t be prouder of how it turned out. It’s a nourishing, lavender-rich serum made to calm and replenish skin. If you’ve been waiting for it, the wait is over. As always, loyal customers like you get first word, so consider this your early note.
As the fresh crop comes in, we’ll be adding bundles, sachets, and culinary buds to the shop in limited quantities. Reply anytime to be put on the early list for a particular item.
Growing beyond the lavender
This year the farm is putting down a few new roots. Our apothecary garden is filling in beautifully. The herbs and botanicals there will find their way into future products and remedies, and we love watching it take shape. And just lately we put in a brand new vegetable garden, which already has us dreaming about everything the rest of the summer will bring. There’s something deeply satisfying about a farm that grows in every direction at once.
Yoga in the fields is back
Last month we held two yoga events out on the farm, and they were a joy: quiet mornings, mats among the rows, the scent of lavender on the breeze. They filled up fast and the response was so warm that we’ve scheduled another. Join us June 28th for a session with Attune to You, right as the fields come into their fullest color. If a flow surrounded by purple sounds like your kind of morning, reserve your spot soon, because these go quickly.
Mark your calendar
A few more things worth marking on your calendar this summer:
Group workout with Results Based Coaching. June 13th at golden hour, right in the fields. This is the gym Conor and I train at ourselves, so it’s a special one for us, and there’s no better setting for it than the farm at that time of day.
Yoga with Attune to You. June 28th, out among the rows in full color. Spots are limited.
We’ll share sign-up details soon. Spots tend to go quickly, so watch for the announcement.
Thank you
None of this happens without you. Your support is what keeps these fields growing and these rows in bloom season after season. We love seeing people out at the farm, and we’re so grateful to everyone who supports our small business and this labor of love. What we’re building here is something special for people to experience, a place and a resource for beautiful moments and beautiful products. Everything feels like magic at the farm right now, and we are so looking forward to seeing the field in full bloom and to seeing you out among the purple this season.
With dirt under our nails and gratitude in our hearts,
